Its been a while
It’s been a while, so hey how you doing? Me I’m fine thanks although this crazy roller coaster ride that is cancer still rolls on. Sometimes it’s quite tranquil and peaceful other times it’s a hurricane of emotions and scared thoughts. Great news yesterday my PSA level is stable in fact barely traceable sitting nicely at 0.01, bad news I’ve got some crap going on upon my scalp which needs investigating another biopsy looking most likely, sometimes you just want to catch a break from all of this but I guess it will be what it will be and I’ll face it come what may.
Had an amazing holiday to Centre Parcs though, it was incredible. As I can’t seem to get insurance cover I’m stuck with staying on this fair isle, but I’m not knocking it the UK is a wonderful place and this was an ideal holiday for me and my family. Back to nature we had a great time. The girls and my wife hired bikes and I hobbled and walked behind trying to keep up which I soon gave up on 😀. But then I had the benefit of enjoying the walks and solitude of the forest.
Our first night delighted us with the appearance of one of Bambi’s relatives. We put a feeder on the window expecting a few birds and squirrels but was amazed when a beautiful deer decided to grace us with its presence. I watched it for ages totally mesmerised by it, I got close enough to touch it which was amazing. Later thant night my wife woke me up, we had another visitor this time a curious badger decided to stop by and say hi.
Mr badger comes to visit us

Been stuck in traffic a few times this week at the Dartford Crossing. Thanks to the stop oil protests, look guys I get what you are doing and in many ways I admire what you are trying to achieve but the times stuck in my car not being able to get out just kills me and leaves me struggling for the rest of the day. I’m being selfish here as I know there are so many worse off than me but I do wish you can find another way of getting your message across.
It’s now the weekend, it’s incredibly mild, in fact I’m sitting outside soaking in the warmth from the sun that just should not be happening. I have a lovely feeling today. I’m keeping a daily gratitude journal and I can feel the affects of this some days. I have a feeling of peace love and compassion after using gratitude you should try it. Just get a notebook and write a few things down before you go to sleep about what you are grateful for. It’s has a very positive impact on your sub conscious mind and whilst you sleep things start happening to wire you into a positive state of mind. Look I’ve got stage 4 cancer and yet sometimes I walk around as if there is absolutely nothing wrong in my world the gratitude stuf works I can’t explain how I just feel it and know it works.
I’ve been focusing a lot recently on my youtube channel, I’m trying to share my experiences of living with my cancer to as many people as possible and to share my own understanding of the mind body connection. I’ve had some lovely responses from people from all parts of the globe and it’s growing fast. It’s amazing reading other people’s experiences many similar to mine. I strongly believe that the more people that we can reach and share our experiences with them the more we can hopefully save. Prostate cancer when caught early is 95% curable. My odds are very low but I will just ignore all that and pretend my odds are very good.
